We’ve just done our spring 100 Club draw and one of our lucky supporters has just won themselves £100!!! Thank you to Craig Burton for doing the honours.

The 100 Club returns in July with the cost to take part remaining at £24/number for the year. This enters your number(s) into 2 draws, with over £400 in cash prizes to be won! This successful fundraiser helps us to raise £1000 for the charity each year and  anyone over 18 years old can take part. More information will follow soon or feel free to contact us.

Please come along to the Empire Ballroom to  support Myforte Music Director Linda Perry-Smith and her talented students, for what is sure to be an evening of sensational entertainment! Proceeds for this concert will be donated to Careline and the Teenage Cancer Trust, this year’s Mayor of Ashbourne’s chosen charities.

The Empire Ballroom is situated on King Edward Street, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, DE6 1BW.

And the winner of the £10 M&S voucher in Careline’s winter fundraising quiz is……………..Dawn Goodall! Congratulations Dawn for scoring 29/30. Three entries shared the same final score, so we put the winning names into the hat and Dawn’s name was pulled out.
Thank you to everyone who bought a quiz sheet – it has proven to be so popular (raising £78 for Careline) that we have decided to publish another quiz around Easter, so watch this space!

Each year our 100 Club raises around £1000 for Careline. We particularly like this fundraiser because it means that as well as raising money for the charity, we can  give something back to our supporters; so since it’s launch in 2014, our 100 Club has raised over £5000 for the charity, in addition to giving £1,680 in prize money to those taking part. Although it’s too late to join this year, entries for next year will open in July 2019!

As we wish you a happy Christmas and thank you all for your support this year, we also have some amazing news to tell you. A few days ago we received confirmation that the Big Lottery will be funding Careline for the next 2 years!! As many of you know, we have had to work especially hard this year to raise funds to keep our crucial service up and running, so this really is the best Christmas present that we could ever have hoped for.
So here’s to all of you and we wish you a happy & prosperous 2019!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas Coffee Morning where  we raised an amazing £1604!! It was a lovely, festive morning with mince pies and carols; where old friendships were rekindled and new ones made. What better way to end the year?
