CARELINE FUNDRAISER
**PLEASE NOTE: OPEN TO UK RESIDENTS ONLY**
As you know it has been a difficult time for small independent charities like ours this past year. Therefore, we thought we would do a little Facebook Fundraiser but with gifts for donations.
All you have to do is send a donation (big or small, it all counts) to our Virgin Money Account and your name will be selected from a hat (or bowl). If you are selected for one of the gifts you will be notified by us. Simple, right?
Please donate here: https://bit.ly/3nI27ZS Also, remember to add an email address or contact number so we can reach you.

We took part in #GivingTuesday this week and what a great day it was.
Giving Tuesday is a global campaign that raises awareness and hopefully funds for charities taking part all over the world. We had great fun doing it last year, so we decided to take part again this year.
We posted throughout the day on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and had lots of likes, comments and shares – which is great to raise awareness for Careline to let people know what we do and how important our service is for people.
Our amazing community also donated to our #GivingTuesday appeal and we have raised £255 so far, which will help us continue to reach the most vulnerable and lonely people in society, especially over the Christmas period.
If you haven’t donated yet you can do so here. Every pound we raise makes a huge difference to those we support. It doesn’t matter how big or small, every pound matters.
❤️ Thank you for all your support – we appreciate it so much ❤️
COVID-19 has changed all of our lives and it is only now that we can begin to understand what loneliness and isolation really mean. Our telephone befriending service is more important than ever as our older generation is asked to self-isolate and many others of varying ages are cut off from family and friends during the lockdown.
Demand for our service is growing day by day and our funds are depleting due to the cancellation and postponement of our regular fundraising events.
To help us through this difficult time we have launched our COVID-19 Emergency Appeal. Help us to continue to be there for anyone who is feeling lonely and isolated by donating today.
The smallest amount helps; so please donate anything you can. Thank you ❤️
We would like to reassure you that our service is still running and won’t be affected by the isolation measures. We will continue to call our members 7 days a week throughout this crisis, as we have done for the past 22 years.
Our registered volunteers will be making their telephone befriending calls from their homes. We are here for anyone living in the Derbyshire Dales and East Staffordshire, who may be feeling anxious and isolated at this difficult time, regardless of age. Please use us – our calls are completely free to receive and we are ready to help!
Please get in touch if you or someone you know would like our support by calling 01335 210353 or e-mail info@carelinecalling.org.uk.
